Scripture: John 13:34–35

In this message from our Better Together series, we explore Jesus’ command to His disciples: “Love one another.”

On the night before the cross, Jesus gave His followers a new commandment that would define the life of the church and serve as a powerful witness to the world. Biblical love in the church is more than kindness or surface-level friendliness. It is a gospel-shaped love—rooted in Christ’s sacrificial love for us and expressed through humility, forgiveness, service, and commitment to one another. When the church lives out this “one another” life, the gospel becomes visible. Our joy grows deeper, and God is glorified through the way His people love.

Big Idea: The “one another” life displays the gospel, deepens our joy, and brings glory to God.
