On Good Friday, we gathered to remember the cross of Jesus Christ—where the Son of God willingly gave His life to accomplish our redemption. This service was a time of reflection, repentance, and gratitude as we considered the weight of our sin and the depth of Christ’s sacrifice. Through Scripture readings, songs, and prayer, we were reminded that the cross was not the end of the story—but the very means by which God secured our salvation.

“But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5 (ESV)

Good Friday invites us to slow down and behold the love of Christ— a love that took our place, bore our judgment, and made a way for us to be reconciled to God.

As we reflect on the cross, we do so with hope— because Sunday is coming.
