Scripture: Matthew 7:1–6

What did Jesus mean when He said, “Judge not”? In Matthew 7:1–6, Jesus confronts the kind of judgment that is hypocritical, self-righteous, and blind to our own sin. At the same time, He calls His followers to exercise humble discernment as they seek to love and help others.

Big Idea: Because God alone is the righteous Judge who has shown us mercy, Christians reject hypocritical, self-righteous judgments and pursue humble, discerning care for people.

Join us as we explore what it means to examine our own hearts, extend the mercy we have received, and wisely care for others in a world quick to condemn.
