The Biblical Counseling Center of Covenant Life Fellowship exists to glorify God (1 Cor 10:31) by helping individuals and families understand their need for and dependence on Jesus, and to teach them from the Bible how to live in a way that pleases God (2 Cor. 5:9).
“I was attracted to Biblical Counseling because it relied solely and the sufficiency of Scripture to meet our psychological needs. To me it seemed to have such a simple model: align your thoughts with God’s and experience His peace. Robert asked questions and evaluated my responses to determine where my faith
was lacking. He then directed me to where those issues were dealt with in Scripture and gave me homework to read articles, meditate on scripture and memorize verses that directly addressed my issues. He taught me that my out-of-whack emotions were the warning signs that my mind was not aligned with God’s. And that is what he was able to teach me to do - recalibrate my mind to God’s so that I could experience His peace in trusting
Him, which allowed me to grow closer to Him and love Him more deeply. It has been paradigm shifting for me. We all need it!”
“I am very thankful for the counseling sessions I had with Robert. He was very empathetic, and gave direct
Biblical wisdom, tailored to the challenges I have been facing. He was also very thoughtful in following up
with me between counseling sessions, letting me know that he was praying for me and my family, which I
really appreciated. The counseling I received was an answer to prayer, and I would recommend it to anyone
else going through a difficult time”
“We were headed for divorce. We needed to learn not to point the finger at each other. Robert taught us a lot
of things about having Jesus in our relationship, and how to grow in our marriage. The application of what we
were taught has made our marriage much stronger”
“Throughout the course of my relatively young life, I was ignorant of the consequences of my actions. As I
have grown and matured, married the woman of my dreams and pursued a career, the burden of sin both past
and present began to overwhelm my conscience. I knew not where to turn until a good friend of mine
suggested that I reach out to the counseling center at Covenant Life Fellowship (CLF) for guidance. They
immediately and joyfully took me in and listened to my plights without judgement. They shared the gospel
and patiently guided me through relevant biblical passages that were applicable to my particular circumstances. I am so thankful for their ministry and would strongly encourage anyone who is struggling with sin in their lives to reach out to CLF.”
