At Covenant Life Fellowship, we believe the Bible encourages us to “equip the saints for the work of ministry” (Eph. 4:12). Theological Foundations are part of this equipping.
Firmly rooted in the idea that God’s word is the inspired, God-breathed Scriptures (2 Tim. 3:16), we desire that Christians who call CLF their home would be disciples of Jesus Christ, learning his word. Furthermore, we desire everyone to be a “worker that need not be ashamed” (2 Tim. 2:15), so they can speak God’s word to a world desperately in need of the Savior. It is from this heart that we offer this class.
Each session will consist of reading assignments and discussion questions. Our meetings will generally be one to two hours. Since there are eleven sessions, we will cover one session per class period. The homework for each class will typically take 3-5 hours, depending on your reading and writing abilities.
Our primary resource will be Systematic Theology by Dr. Wayne Grudem.
