He is not here—He is risen.
On Easter Sunday, we gather to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ—the decisive victory over sin, death, and the grave. What was accomplished on the cross was confirmed in the empty tomb: Jesus is alive, and because He lives, we have hope. Through worship, Scripture, and the preaching of God’s Word, we were reminded that the resurrection is not just an event to remember—it is the foundation of our faith and the source of our new life.
“He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you…” — Luke 24:6 (ESV)
The resurrection declares that:
- Sin has been paid for
- Death has been defeated
- New life is available to all who trust in Christ
Easter is a call to believe, to rejoice, and to live in the power of a risen Savior. Because He lives— we are forgiven, we are free, and we have eternal hope.
