At Covenant Life Fellowship, we believe the Bible encourages us to “equip the saints for the work of ministry” (Eph. 4:12). Theological Foundations is part of this equipping.
Firmly rooted in the idea that God’s word is the inspired, God-breathed Scriptures (2 Tim. 3:16), we desire that Christians who call CLF their home would be disciples of Jesus Christ, learning his word. Furthermore, we desire everyone to be a “workerthat need not be ashamed” (2 Tim. 2:15), so they can speak God’s word to a worlddesperately in need of the Savior. It is from this heart that we offer this class.
Each session will consist of reading assignmentsand discussion questions. Our meetings will generallybe one to two hours. Since there are elevensessions, we will cover one session per class period. The homework for each class will normally take 3-5 hours of time, depending on your reading and writing abilities.
Our primary resource will be Systematic Theologyby Dr. Wayne Grudem.
